It was lovely to receive the support and validation of  Redwood Writers .  Grateful to them for their ongoing support.

I submitted the first chapter of a young adult novel I have been working on, called Out, and it won the contest!

 Next I have a critique with an agent of the first ten pages.  Sweet. Perseverance just might be paying off! And many helpful editors.  My son Joseph’s input on this chapter is probably why it won! Nice to have a fourteen year old in the house to test out my material.
